Here are some things to note:

  • This software is 4.6 megs in size and will take about 19 minutes to download.

  • Choose "open" for easiest install or "save" if you know where to find the file.
  • You can continue to use your web browser while the file is downloading.
  • The file will be named   rp8-setup.exe  and you will need to click on it when it downloads if it does not automatically start.
  • You will need to enter an e-mail address.  Choose one that you use for junk mail.
  • When installing it asks you if you want to make Real audio your default player.  You can choose no.
  • We suggest you choose NO for all boxes so that you do not get unwanted e-mail. 
  • After the software is installed it might require you to restart your computer. It is worth the time to do this so you can enjoy audio and video files.  Remember to come back to EveryTongue.com

Can you read the Farsi words correctly?  If not follow these instructions.

Now below is the same sentence using regular html text.  If the letters are not the same then you need to change a setting on your computer.

Choose the box Farsi.  If you do not see Farsi then choose Arabic.

In Language settings choose "Arabic"
 
About Farsi fonts...
Most of what I put on this site is best viewed using the True Type font called Lotus.  You can search on this font and download it from the internet.  It will be a file called lotus lotu__sf1.ttf download this font and put it in your font folder in Control panel.  You will also want the bold Lotus font called  lotub_sf1.ttf 
 
If you do not install Lotus then your browser will simply use the closest font like Arial.  This works fine but an occasional character will be used incorrectly. 
 
To write Farsi...
 
Go to control panel.
Choose regional and language options
Choose language
Choose install files for complex script
If it asks choose Farsi.
 
Get Free Mp3 Player
Most of the files are Real Audio and the above instructions will work for that.  If you want to download the Mp3 files and you do not have an Mp3 player then click here to download a free Mp3 player for Windows.  If you want MacIntosh then click here.

در همان حالي كه اين فايل دريافت مي‌گردد شما مي‌توانيد از جستجوگر اينترنت خود استفاده نمائيد خواهد

نام فايل بود. اگر دريافت آن بطور خودكار

انجام نگرفت شما بايد روي نام فايل

كليك كنيد نام فايل

لازم خواهد شد كه يك آدرس ايميل ارائه دهيد. سعي كنيد آدرسي بدهيد كه معمولاً ايميل بيهوده آنجا فرستاده مي‌شوند

همانطور كه اين نرم‌افزار روي كامپيوتر اينستال مي‌شود، از شما مي‌پرسد كه آيا مي‌خواهيد آن را به عنوان نرم‌افزار اصلي براي اجراي برنامه‌هاي صوتي و تصويري در نظر بگيريد يا نه. مي‌توانيد گزينه خير را انتخاب نمائيد
